This is Kuala Lumpur's busiest city center. The traffic is divided here. The SOJU bar with a circular arc like a flying saucer stands in front of it. The outdoor LED large screen on the façade is striking "SOJU" and the savory bar advertisement, but the bar The entrance is a regular square. On the sides of the 90-degree right angle, four glass doors are arranged in turn. It is worth noting that the walls on both sides of the door are full of western modern style lamps. Brilliant.
Tradition? modern? within Temptation? ordinary? dialogue? collision? In this pluralistic world, there may be conflicting spaces, which is the space of taste.
A. The unique excavation angle of the works on urban demand and value
With the twin towers, it is also filled with the unique style of multi-ethnicity. When you step into a modern commercial building, many Malay girls with pink, lavender, milky veil and dark complexion are drifting away. The streets of Chaozhou, Fujian and Hong Kong restaurants are everywhere, with a yellowish complexion in Chinese. Chinese people can be seen everywhere. When they enter and leave the hotel, they will see Indian men wrapped in big Baotou. Indian women who are wearing bright sari are also appearing in the alleys...
This is Kuala Lumpur, a city where multicultural exchanges collide, tradition and modernity coexist. From the point of view of satisfying the aesthetics of different ethnic groups, designers start from the facade, and continue to design the business format and the interior of the bar. With diversity.
B. The design innovation of the work in the spatial layout
The spatial layout is always linked to the bar business format. Unlike other bars, SOJU has both a romantic coffee bar and a dynamic bar to suit the needs of different groups of people and different needs.
The coffee bar is located in the area behind the four doors of SOJU. The photo wall and contrast color are the theme of this space. The yellow wall matches the purple dining table and chairs. The photo of the big musician in the photo frame is attached to the photo wall. The various memories are instantly opposite each other. The wooden bar and the floor are against the wall made of cultural stone. The eyes can't help but notice the English LOGO: "SOJO", "PARTY", "CLUB" everywhere on the wall. , "SHOW"...
C. The design innovation of the work in the environmental style
After passing through the passage of green light, the soft and bright light becomes dim, and the dark color becomes the main color of the space. On both sides of the long walkway, the classical wooden wall is mixed with A fence like a reinforced iron bar, the psychology of hunting is born.
Step inside, don't have a hole in the sky, the stage! The central axis of the entire space is the regular T-station, and the opposite side is a large LED screen. The dense spotlights on both sides of "WELCOME TO SOJO!" illuminate the white path that should be dark from different angles. For example, on the Avenue of Stars, when the music on the DJ stage sounds, the dancers of light, shadow, sound, music, and dance sway with the crowds dancing on the scattered platforms, leaving all the troubles of the world behind!
The sofa area near the edge of the field looks light, and the large leather sofa and metal railings form a single card area. From time to time, there are spotlights floating in the air. The color is elegant but the colorful sofa area is shining with metallic color. The coffee table is hidden.
D. Design innovations in the design and selection of works
Diversified spatial elements need to be highlighted by a variety of materials. The designer's selection of materials is almost all over the world, from Turkish gray marble to tropical rain forest brown marble, from Shandong white linen to American gray linen, from art paint to fluorine. Carbon paint...
Conflict and dialogue are always the theme of the whole space. The designer's innovation lies in the organic integration of the decorative materials of different elements.
E. The outstanding effect and evaluation of the work after it is put into operation
The diversification of the consumption of nightclubs determines the different positioning of different bars, as well as the business format and service mode. When designing the SOJO bar, designers are more concerned with using different design styles to satisfy the bar owners’ consumption patterns. The control, after the operation of the SOJO, meets the requirements of the Kuala Lumpur city center consumer group for nightlife, naturally highly sought after
